Lovely porcelain wall pocket with equestrian charm with a colorful illustration on front showing the embarkment of the hunt on an early morning. Lovely relief flora scrolls frame the image perfectly, rectangle shape with a narrow opening on top for dried flowers or even mail! Small nail hole on back for wall mounting, stamped Japan on back and “The Hinode” which translates to sunrise or dawn. Very good condition with some light spots of discoloration front and back probably due to water over the years, c1930s. Measures 5 ¾ inches tall x 1 inch deep x 3 inches wide.
