Captain Condo was a legacy at Longacres Racetrack in Washington State, he held the record for being the Washington-bred career-earnings champion! Sadly, the track closed permanently in September of 1992 and Captain Condo was officially retired to his home in Yakima, Washington after a 10-year career. In 1996 he was brought to a New York racetrack for a tributary and died on the track of a heart attack, very unusual in a horse only 14 years old. This lovely button commemorates his last race at Longacres and is fabulous collector’s piece for the racing enthusiast. C1992, measures 3 ½ inches around.
