Sears Roebuck and Co was the go-to label for the sporting lifestyle back in the 1930s, outfitting the avid hunters, farmers and equestrians. These breeches were made to last with the thick and heavy fabric and double stitched seams, and whomever their previous owner was certainly used them well, even adding a piece of leather in the crotch for extra durability; this tells me they were used by someone who rode in the saddle! Red and black plaid fabric is unlined, banded waist with belt loops and suspender buttons, button fly front (there is one button missing at the very bottom), fabric tonal knee patches, laced cuffs, rear flap/button pockets, flare leg. There is some wear throughout this garment (see pics) but in very wearable condition. Size 36, made in USA, 1930s.
The following measurements were taken with the garment lying FLAT and recorded in inches, please be sure and DOUBLE the appropriate measurements: Waist: 18, hips: 21, rise: 12 ½, inseam: 24.
