I have seen this image before in other porcelain works from the time, but cannot find the exact origin. It is simply elegant with the expressive horse wearing a golden snaffle bridle with pink tassels at her browband, rich black mane and forelock and that soft, sweet look. Fine polished porcelain with gold brushed trim and ornate hooked edge. There is no manufacturer’s stamp, but #9046 is stamped in red on the back of the plate and the gold label on front states “Home of the Grand ol’ Opry, Nashville TN”. Excellent condition with no chips or damage, rich colors too. Circa 1960s, measure 8 inches round.
