The Seattle based Bon Marche Department store was founded in 1890 and was a staple for the Northwest for over 100 years, until they eventually became part of the Macy’s Federated Stores and the Bon, as Seattle-lites loved to call it, was no longer. This fabulous honey hive hat is a catching fashion statement of the 1930s and has an Equestrian riding helmet vibe to the look and structure. Woven rattan in a vanilla bean color, pointed top with small brim, unlined, excellent condition and labeled Bon Marche. Made in USA, size 7, 1930s. Measures 7 inches wide x 8 inches long x 7 inches tall, 1 ½ inch front brim.
