Brittany Riding Apparel of New York was established in the early part of the 20th Century in the hey-day of the Central Park Equestrian craze. Millers, whose flagship store was in Manhattan, carried the Brittany Riding Apparel brand exclusively and every well-dressed Equestri-anne in the city was sure to have either a pair of breeches or a riding coat from this line. This jacket is made from quality black wool gabardine with satin reinforcements on the interior seams, front flap pockets and chest pocket, light shoulder pads, unlined, 3 button front and buttoned cuffs, nicely tailored in the sporting style, rear center vent. Excellent condition with no holes or damage, made in USA, Size 6, 1960s.
