The world-famous Kreemy Toffee was founded by Edward Sharp in his hometown of Maidstone, Kent in England- and he created one of the largest toffee manufacturers in the world as documented in 1922. Though he passed in 1931, his sons and grandsons carried on his tradition until, eventually, this iconic brand was owned by Cadbury in the late 1980s. This fabulous tin is from the era when Edward was still running his company and was filled with the super Kreem Toffee, his trademark product. Lovely hunters and hounds top this tin, with the Sharp’s logo and text on the sides still in remarkable condition. “Made in England” is stamped on the bottom. Lid is tight but can be removed, inside is in very good condition. Circa 1910, made in England, measures 5 ½ L x 4 W x 1 ½ inches tall.
