Simple in the details with timeless utilitarian form, this fabulous child’s toy stick horse has survived decades from the time it was first loved by a child. Who knows what history this little horse has, what children found joy playing cowboys & Indians and if its original owners are still even alive….finding its way to my shop with its worn yet vibrant story. Simple wooden broom handle topped with hard sculptural foam horse head with single rope handle attached at top of the head. Very good vintage condition with the following note: there is a red marking on one side of the wooden handle - it looks like it can be sanded/cleaned off but will leave that up to the new owner. c1930s.
Measures 36 ½ inches total length, head measures 8x 2 ½ x 4 inches, rope measures 10 ½ inches long and wooden stick is 2 ½ inches around
