Stephen Rae Hickok founded the Hickok manufacturing company in 1909 and within a few short years became the largest and most respected maker of men’s belts and accessories in the world. Credited with innovative marketing and big spreads in national magazines, Stephen promoted his line of men’s accessories including wallets, belts, suspenders and jewelry. The Hickok tie clips and pins are especially collectible and this fabulous sporting dog tie pin is a unique find. The company dissolved in the 1970s but a legacy was left and Hickok is purported to be a main influencer for men wearing jewelry well into the 21st century.
