This book was written by Sue Henderson Coen as an equitation guide for riding instructors and beginning students. The author starts at the very beginning with an introduction to the horse and the equestrian fundamentals and moves through the gaits of the horse, tack, what to do in emergencies and general care of the horse; complete with 3 appendixes and an index. This is a first edition print from 1969, and it was published by Wilshire Book Company out of Hollywood, California. Good condition with one note: Towards the middle of the book some of the pages have become unglued from the binding (see picture), they are in a clump so not separate sheets but there is some wear there. Pages are in new/great condition, cover has some normal wear for a book of this age. 246 pages, softcover.
