There is frustratingly little information on the McLech Distillery other than the highly collectible liquor bottles that can be found all over the internet. The little I could find is that McLech was sold only in the U.K. so the ones that made it to the US were either gifts or from a collector. This lovely fox hunting graphic is one of 5 in the Fox Hunting series, not to be mistaken with the Fox Hunters Series which has 11 images in series. At one time McLech was connected with Aidee Novelty somehow, but I do not think that pertains to this miniature decanter. Once filled with Mead, a fermented Honey liquor; plastic tapped plug is circa 1960s. Off-white bisque porcelain miniature replica of pub handle with red-coated huntsmen and hounds, gold trim bottom + top, very good condition, made in Torquay, England, c1960s. Decanter base measures 1 ¾ inches, decanter is 6 inches tall and 5 inches around at widest.
