The Moffatt Woolen Mill, located at the same place, is home to the clan Tartan Centre where you can trace your clan history. The Moffats were an ancient Borders family and they are likely to have given their name to the town of Moffat in Dumfrishire. 100% virgin wool black and grey plaid with white and red threads, double leather buckles on side, full wrap style with interior Velcro adjustment, fringed front panel with oversized skirt pin, flat front with narrow pleats in back, unlined, narrow banded waist, A-line cut. Label Is Moffat Weavers, excellent condition, no marked size but fits like a small, c1970s.
