A lovely addition to your equestrian home with Victorian hunt scenes in vivid detail. Interestingly, the Pimpernel is a miniature scarlet flower which has been part of the English countryside for hundreds of years. Pimpernel was founded in 1933 and first produced placemats in simple, plain wood. Fast-forward and these coasters keep on trend with the 1980s tabletop décor, showing sophistication and style to become an integral part of the hunt-club home. Set included 6 coasters with cork backs, lightweight wood with resin finish in original box. Excellent condition with one note: One of the coasters has some faded rings on it (see picture). Made in England, 1980s. Each coaster measures 4 x 4 inches.
