Just imagine you are a young cowboy wannabe in the 1960s and your favorite TV shows are the Virginian, Wyatt Earp and Outlaws. Made by Astor Doll & Toy Company, this was the young cowpokes companion while watching Westerns on TV, with a plush well-made horse body and Astor rubber weighed head. Black plush fabric with cotton stuffing, white plastic sewn-on saddle and white plastic “socks” on the horse, white yarn tale, rubber head with silver mane and bright eyes. It originally came with plastic reins and these are missing, and there is a small tear on the top of the saddle where it attaches to the neck, but overall excellent vintage condition. C 1960s, measures 24 inches long, 9 inches high x 13 inches wide.
